Places to have a baby shower?

My mother is looking for a place to host my baby shower. She lives in the Canton/Sharon MA area and was hoping to stay local. She likes the feel of a country club, with lots of light and windows overlooking the greens. However these places usually don't let you bring in your own food. She feels these rooms tend to be nicely decorated and fit larger crowds. Other options include banquet halls, but all the ones we know of are dark and dreary - not what she (and we) had in mind for a spring shower.

 Any suggestions? I think she'd be willing to book something anywhere in the South Shore/Rt. 128 area.

Have you thought of the Marina Bay area? They have some nice places. We had my sister in law's bridal shower at one of them. Im trying to remember the name. There is a place on a golf course in Quincy that is really pretty, I think it is called Granite Links.
