The bright side to 5 days in a row of rain...

My husband hasn't been able to work due to the rain.  Uggg, it feels like it is NEVER going to let up.

But because DH hasn't been able to work, he has been able to prime and paint the nursery.  YAY!!

Any others totally tired of this storm?

Me! I honestly don't remember the last time it was sunny here. I hate it!! It's been either foggy/misty or raining. Yuck!!!!

I sure am! I hate commuting in the rain, and we've been doing it all week. Also, it's kept us from walking the dog as often as we (and she) would like, although at least there have been enough breaks or lighter rain periods to get her out once a day.

 

Plus I just gave my only umbrella to a homeless man, so I'll be very happy if I don't have a need for it on the way home. (Although at least I have a raincoat and boots--all that guy had was a blanket, which must have been soaked.)

Well I really like the rain and we so desperatly need it, so I can't complain.  Well I guess I can because I have had to drive in it during rush hour the last three days (70 miles each way, yuck!).  I wish it would rain the entire month, but that is just me!

I love the rain!  But I don't love the muddy dog I have deal with everytime she goes outside.  Our backyard still has standing water in it and it's been a few hours since the rain stopped.  We did get a massive hail storm right over us last night, that was fun.

I love the rain!  We only get maybe 4 inches a year in Arizona so this is awesome.  We did get reminded last night that we need to replace windows that leak in blowing rain.  Expensive reminder.

I'm so tired of it too!!!! And I'm bummed cause the storm took out part of our fence so now we have to deal with that.

They're calling for sun here tomorrow. Hope you get it too!

Noramlly it does not bother me, but we found out we have a leak. Our house has a flat roof. Between the roof and our neighbor's tree (clogs the drain) we got a leak. DH has to constantly go on the roof and clear leaves, so that the leak does not get worse. To top it off our roofer is booked and can't make it till next week.

Im in Southern Cali. too and I can't stand all this rain! I am such a sun an warm weather kind of person! that is why I live here! I cant wait for summer to get here. Good luck in the nursery! hope he can get a lot done

Look on the bright side... these storms could put a nice little dent on the drought situation. That's one think I don't miss about CA.... being told I can't water my lawn or wash my car!
