Sequencial Screening Results?

I got my results today and my down syndrome is 1/160. The nurse was telling me that is good but I really expected it to be more like 1/1000. Is this because I am approaching 35 (currently 33)? What does everything think? Did anyone else get their results?

Nural tube defects was 1/5300 and Trisomony was 1/7300 so I am not worried about those.

hi, i got a borderline result for down's today. i am waiting on blood results to hear what the next step might be. my number was either 1/200 or 1/300, and i was told that is borderline. I will be 31 in March, and from what i am reading the risk goes up after 35...so i'm not sure. are you scheduled for further testing? wishing you the best!
