Yeah, my kid never plays in his room either (unless there is an adult with him, or we are upstairs). I don't get it!

    whats even weirder is that she will play alone in the dining room or living room ... just not in her bedroom.  We have a ranch style house.

    DS will play on his own in the LR -- just not his bed room. His bedroom is upstairs. He has a brand new awesome garage up there --- that he never plays with!!

    Her bedroom is super tiny like 9x10.  I'm hoping to rearrange her room and get rid of the extra set drawers so I can put some of her gazillion toys (that grammy keeps buying her) in her room so she can either play in there or bring stuff out to play.
