I can't decide whether to take my umbrella stroller or BOB when we fly to FL next month... any advice?
We're planning lots of day trips (i.e. Disney, the zoo, the beach etc) and I think the BOB would make for better napping and it's more comfy. I just don't know how much of a hassle it is to fly with it.
Did you check it w/ luggage? Go through security/check at the door?
Re: Traveling/Flying with BOB stroller?
See if Baby's Away has a location near you! We've rented jogging strollers at our destination before (and toys, and Exersaucers, and high chairs!) from them in Atlanta, Denver, Houston, and Austin before.

We took the bob and gate checked it like you would any other stroller. It worked out fine.
They do have a case you can buy to put it in for about $100, if you are afraid of it getting damaged or just don't want to gate check it.

I wonder why they said that? We just went through the wheelchair lane
