Higher end strollers than BRU carries???

Anyone been to Buy Buy Baby yet?  Looking to try out the Zippy Inglesina, UppaBaby, Quinny and maybe even the Bugaboo.  I was wondering if the Buy Buy Baby in NJ carries these?  If not, where would you recommend checking these out near Main Line or in Delco?

  • I actually called BBB in Cherry Hill last night to ask what they had on the floor (so we could test them out this weekend)...the sales person was really knowledgable. I only asked about the 2010 UppaBaby and the Bugaboo, but they def. have those two!

  • Please let me know how it goes!!!  Very curious about UppaBaby.  I want to get a different stroller than my friends have, and many have the Bugaboo.  I am not sure if the Bugaboo will be worth it for me since I live in the suburbs and work full time, not sure if I will get enough use out of it.  I am really curious about the Inglesina Zippy 2010.  My friend in NYC and another in LA swear by this stroller and they also sell a bassinet attachment like the Bugaboo.  Can't wait to hear your thoughts on the Uppa vs. Bugaboo and any others you check out.

  • I have the Zippy and loooove it. It's just so incredibly user-friendly. This is a good review of it with a video demo at the bottom. They have that and every other stroller you can think of at Buy Buy Baby.

  • Iris, my recommendation is to get a Snap N Go for the first few months and skip the super high end stroller. After the baby outgrows the infant carrier, switch over to a Maclaren Techno XLR or a Baby Jogger City Mini. Unless you intend to do a TON of walking downtown (and those two strollers should work just fine in that situation), the mega strollers are too cumbersome to keep schlepping in and out of the car.

Nurture in Ardmore has the Maclaren model, and Kids N Kribs in Wayne has the BJCM. Nurture also has some Bugaboo and Uppababy models if you want to get some ideas before you trek out to Cherry Hill.

Bellini in Devon has the Bumbleride Indie, which is cheaper and easier to use than the Bugaboos.
