I am making an appointment for Friday for him, but thought I'd ask here.
DH was not going to tell me about this because it went away. I don't want to make this too long so I might miss some details.
This morning DH felt a pain in his chest that he said it felt like someone was sticking a rod through him. It was in his chest and his back. He blew it off as gas. It took a while, but went away.
A little while later he had to use the binoculars for a while. When he put them down he had issues with his vision. He could not see down when he was looking straight ahead. Does that make sense? This went on for a while to where it really started to bother him.
He went on to do something else. All of a sudden his lips, chin, nose and I think he said the side of his face went numb. He started to get really nervous.
Once that went away he ended up with a really bad headache.
I'm glad he told me, but now I'm doing what he didn't want me to do. Worry.
WDYT?

Honestly, I'd make him go to the ER. The facial numbness and change in vision can be signs of stroke. And the chest pain is not something to mess around with either.
The odds are it's probably something else altogether. But seeing the doctor is not something I would put off, personally.
I agree with this. He needs to be seen right away to be sure.
