PPD and IUD - a link?

Anyone experience PPD after having a hormonal IUD placed?

 

While I don't know if it is the only cause for my possible depression, I am leaning towards it possibly being a contributing factor.

Just wondering your experiences.

    I have had irritability and depression on all forms of hormonal BC I have tried.  I just tried the mini pill and had the same effects.

    Now that you mention it, I am probably a little more irritable since I got my IUD.  But I have been having issues since before then.
