Those with a Peg Perego Pliko P3

Have any of you actually used the footboard on the back for a second child to stand on and ride? I have this stroller now but just can't picture DD riding on the back with an infant in the front.

I tried the foot board thing once with my friend's 2 year old son. Honestly, it didn't work out, although he may have been too young to grasp the concept. I also had the hood on the stroller so it made it hard for him to stand without having his face blocked. I think it might work for maybe a 3 year old and up.

On another note, do you guys like the Pliko P3?  I'm thinking it was a big mistake.
