Another GD question

When they tell you how many carbs you are allowed - is that how many you must have or is that the number that you shouldn't go over?

Thanks!

Re: Another GD question

  • I got an optimal range from my nutritionist, as in:

    Breakfast 1-2 carbs

    Lunch 3-4 carbs

    Dinner 3-4 carbs

    Snack 1-2 carbs

It's a really good idea to eat some carbs, as wheat bread, fruit, and other foods with carbs really do have good nutrients for you and LO.

Let me see if I understand. :)  When you say 1-2 carbs you mean 1-2 servings?  Which would mean 15g-30g carbs????

  • Yeah, that's what I mean. Sorry for the confusion/shorthand. :)

I'm just glad I was able to figure it out. :)

  • Yeah, you'll catch on to all of it in no time. ;)
  • It's the number to try not to go over for carbs. They just told me to make sure I take in enough carbs in general, so that way my body doesn't start burning fat that's stored.

It's rough at first, but you get it!
