Moms Groups/Playgroups in South Philadelphia (passyunk square) or Center City

Hi - Is anyone aware of any mom's groups in the Passyunk Square or Center City Area.  I just gave birth, so I wouldn't be attending for a month or so.  I just want to see what's out there to make the most of my maternity leave...and I think I might want to get out of the house after we get into the routine!

Hey I am in South Philly/Pennsport area as well and had by daughter about a month ago. So far I haven't found anything in the area. But I am always on the lookout. Let me know if you find anything or if you ever just want to try to start our own or go for a stroll around the area with the kids let me know.

 I found one at Ali's Wagon in Fairmount and there is also Mommy and Me yoga on Wednesdays at Wakeup Yoga on Passyunk.  Let me know if you would like to grab coffee at Black and Brew - maybe Thursday next week?  I am going a little stir crazy at home with baby.  I will message you my e-mail address.

Hi ladies,

Congrats on your new arrivals! I recently moved to Society Hill, am due in about 7 weeks and am looking for mom's groups and/or other new moms to get together with for walks, etc.  Though it will be a few months before I can get out, please let me know if you're still getting out & about with your little ones come this Spring.  I cannot wait for the warm weather (and my baby girl!) to arrive!

Congrats on your pregnancy -

I couldn't find a Mom's group in my neighborhood (Passyunk Square) so I went ahead and started my own.  It's on meetup.com (New Moms Group - Passyunk Square).  I also noticed that if you search for Moms groups in Philadelphia on the site there is an expecting moms group that you may be interested in that is meeting next week.
