If I take Dayquil at night will it keep me awake?

And is it too irresponsible to take Dayquil and go to sleep when my husband is away and it's just me and the baby here?  I feel like crap and can't breathe.  I'll be up all night if I don't take anything, I don't have Nyquil, only Dayquil, and that might keep me up anyway.  Shiz.

    It keeps me up. I like Theraflu, the night stuff makes me sleep but I hear the kids.

    Hm... I don't know. Look at the ingredients and see if there is any caffeine. I have no idea what it has in it.

    Thanks. I wish someone would deliver that to my door right now.  I thought I had Nyquil so didn't run out for it, and didn't realize until after Nick went to sleep that I don't have any.
