glucose testing supplies

do I need a prescription for refills on my lancets or test strips for my GD glucose testing?  Thanks

    Yes and my insurance wont pay for it to be sent by mail order i have to get it from my local pharm. GL!

    I don't need a prescription for my brand, but my Rx insurance won't help out with the cost unless I have one.

    Everything the PP said.  A pkg of 100 strips for my meter is $100 OTC.  Unfortunately they are at the highest price tier as far as my Rx copays go, but the $25 copay is a lot better than $100 :)

    Lancets are really cheap though.  I think a 100 pack is only about $15, and my copay on those is $10.

    I work in a pharmacy & the only way you can get them on your insurance is with a prescription, but otherwise you do not need a rx just to buy them.
