Are the # 1 nipples considered slow flow? The lc said to use slow flow since I'll try to bf when they get a little bigger (we try now but their mouths are really small) and that anything else just let's too much milk in their mouth and it runs out the sides. So are they the same or is there no "slow flow" in avent? Thanks!

Yeah the 1's are the slow flows, we had the same problem in the beginning. We used Vent air bottles early on and that seemed to work better than the Avents. We switched when they were older.

Yes, they don't have anything smaller or slower than the 1's.
