Bug bite question...

I think I may have gotten a spider bite on my side, that itches like crazy. The area around the bite, though, is numb. Is that normal?

I don't even know if it's a spider bite, but that is my guess... It's just so weird that it's numb.

Spider bites do itch like nobody's business.

If you're concerned, I'd just call you doctor and see if they want you to get it looked at.

See, we have black widow and brown recluse spiders all over the place here. Ugh, now I have goose bumps!

I would probably let the doctor know.
