There are 2 Homedics sound machines...which one should I get, and will they both play all night if I want, or do they shut off?

The second one!! Thats what we have it can be on timer or play all night, we always keep it on the all night long setting and I vote that one over the other because it has the projector. DD stares at that thing and talks to it to fall asleep. ENJOY!

I just bought the 2nd one so that we'd have a good "mobile" to travel with. It packed and traveled very well and is really small. Harris has a projection mobile with music and lights that doesn't travel well (always fritzes out when we try to re-set it up) so we wanted something like this. The SoundSpa Lullaby is great! If I had it to do over (or if his mobile ever breaks for good) I'd just use the SSL in his room for good. It will play all night, or you can set the timer for 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes. It will do 3 songs or 3 sounds (heartbeat, ocean, rain). The light can also dim and volume can be adjusted. There are also 3 projection disks that you can change out for different scenes.

When I ordered mine some of the reviews said that they broke easily but that even knowing that it was worth it. If I find a good deal on them I might buy a few for gifts and to keep one on hand if ours ever breaks. I see it replacing our touchy mobile before we're done having kids, so it will probably come in handy.

Wait around for a better price if you can. I bought mine a little over a week ago from amazon for just $22. The same thing happened with something else I bought on amazon...one day it was $80, the next $115...but then it went back to $80 when their stock updated again.

BBB has it for $20, but i'm not sure what their shipping is.
