My doctor just called.

I'm pregnant.  She said my #'s were high, something about 3,000.  She did say the lab didn't check my progesterone like I requested, but since I had low progesterone with Blaire and Natalie that she would go ahead and call in 200 mg of Prometrium and take it 3X day.  Even if I did want to keep this from DH a while longer, he'd know something was up after taking that stuff for about 2 days.  That stuff makes me a bit bitchy.

I have an appointment on Wednesday and they'll probably have to do an u/s to determine my EDD, b/c I truly don't have a clue.

:taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly:

  • Congrats!  You seem to be handling this surprise very well!  Good luck!
  • Wow!  Like I'm sure you've heard already and know in your head, it will all work out somehow and you'll love this kid like crazy.  Hugs to you as you get used to the idea and sort it all out, though!

  • ((hugs))

It's ok to not be super happy when your surprised like that.  My 2nd DD was not planned and not at the right time.  It took a bit for it to sink in and for me to feel happy.

Now I just can't imagine life without her.  It all works out even when you think it won't.

Congrats and take those deep breaths. Left Hug

Congrats! When are you going to tell your husband?

I'll tell him tonight when he gets home.  He's probably dying to ask me to take a test b/c he's the one who had really noticed that I hadn't started.  In his mind I had a period mid-November, I should've had one mid-december, and now I'm 4 weeks late.  So, he's actually pretty correct.

In my mind, I wouldn't have been regular while nursing, and I was just waiting to start anyday now.  Especially since I had some cramping about 2-3 weeks ago.

  • Congratulations and hopes for a happy and healthy nine months!

  • Congrats!  My #3 was also a surprise, and I found out when #2 was 9 months old.  It's a lot of work having 3 little ones, but it's so much fun.   Everything will be fine.

I was nervous about telling DH, and I waited a couple of days until I was certain (was getting really faint lines at first).  He was shocked at first but then started to get excited about our kids being so close together in age.

  • Congrats!  I'm sure it will all work out.

I have to ask, though, if you have another girl, will you name her Tootie?  LOL... your girls' names always remind me of the Facts of Life.

  • Congrats!!  I was posting this same post last month!  Everything will be ok!
  • Congrats!  It may not seem like it now, but it will all work out in the end.
  • Congrats : )  I know that an unexpected third baby is tough news to take in the beginning, but trust me...SO worth it. I'm hoping for a super smooth, easy pregnancy for you!
  • CONGRATS!!! You are very blessed.  It took my sister 18 mos to get pg with her first. She is 37 1/2 years old now.  They are now TTC #2 (their little guy is 1 1/2) & she just m/c in December at 6 weeks, after her second round of IUI's.
