Tot Swap

Has anyone here been to the Tot Swap in Timonium?  I've heard that it is one of the better Tot Swaps and wondering if it is worth the drive.

I went to one in the fall at timonium. I thought it was horrible. Everything was expensive and really USED looking.  All the baby gear was priced very near what you would pay new. The clothes were wrinkled, stained, torn.

I really like the one at Pine Valley (I think thats what it is called ) Swim club off of belair rd. I have gotten lots of great deals there.

I went to the one in Columbia in the fall. It was horrible too...almost creepy. The prices were ridiculous for the condition of the items, the building was dingy and dirty, and everything was a jumbled mess. I did one look-through and walked out. Not worth my time. I had great success with the Wee-Cycle in Westminster and the MOMS Club of Odenton sales though. I highly recommend those if you can make it.

I've been to both the Timonium one and the Germantown one and like both.  You have to go with a plan and know what prices are worth to you.  And look around for the same item as some people price higher than others.  It's definitely best to go at the New Mom opening, better selection.  Get there early too.
