Good for you! I did that a few years ago and feel so much better:) BUT I will never, ever give up my coffee. Don't worry, it's like anything else..you're gonna crave it for a while, but the cravings will get fewer and fewer when the stuff's not around the house. When you go out, bring a water bottle filled with flavored water like Crystal Light. Having something to swig will keep the urge to buy that fountain drink at bay!
Colas are so bad for you. What I did to cut them out (most of the time) is to imagine my bones dissolving whenever I had one. The phosphoric acid in cola leaches calcium out of your bones.
I still have the occasional Diet Coke, but now it's once or twice a month, not every day.
I drink a lot of water these days.

Good for you. I gave up soda for a long time and it felt great and I lost weight. With the sleep deprivation of children sugary soda has crept insidiously back but one day I'll give it up again. Hopefully before ds starts asking for it! Good luck. Enjoy your whiter teeth, stronger bones and healthier you.
