I was just reading about the 3rd month in my what to expect the first year and it said no hats during sleep.... for real? It is to reduce overheating, in turn, SIDS.
I thought you were to try to keep a hat on as much as possible the first year?
Does your baby wear a hat at night?

This. It's not worth the fight with DS unless it's cold. He H-A-T-E-S hats.
This. We saw the hat over his face on one of his naps and I freaked out. After that we stopped wearing hats to bed. He only wears them now if we go out and it's cold, otherwise no hats inside either.
