About the name Laighton...

I probably came across wrong.  I didnt really explain in the OP. 

Though the name is a little different I like it.  I dont like her spelling of it.  It does look pretty as Leighton now that I type it out. 

Hope it didnt upset anyone who likes the name.  I just find the spelling to be throwing me off about how I feel about it.  Now that I have said it enough I really like it.

yeah laighton is just about as bad as spelling it layton.   Spelled right it is a pretty name.

No worries. Everybody has different tastes so it really shouldn't upset anyone if someone doesn't like a name they like!

There is a male pro tennis player with that name.  He is from Australia and he spells it Lleyton.  Lleyton Hewitt is his full name.  I have never heard it as a girl's name though.
