I'm impressed with myself!

Yesterday morning I called the pedi because the baby had green goopiness sealing her left eye shut all night. I called at 8:45 and, because they're only there for a couple of hours on Saturday, the latest they could get me in was 9:45.

At this point we were all still in our PJ's and DH had already gone to work. I had exactly one hour to get myself dressed, get JD dressed, pack a separate bag for JD, drop him off at DH's work, which is 15 minutes in the opposite direction of the Pedi's office (which is already 25 minutes from our house) and get to the Pedi...... AND, this was my very first time getting both kiddos loaded into the car by myself.

I'm proud to say that we made it on time. Getting out the door with two little ones is definitely more challenging and chaotic, especially when you're in a hurry!

BTW - the baby had an infected tear duct and they also determined that she hasn't gained any weight since Tuesday so I have to bring her back in this week for a weight check. She nurses well and constantly so I don't really know why she's not gaining weight!

    Way to go!  I'm impressed.  My kids will be 2 years 5 months and I'm worried about getting out the door when I go back to work.  It sounds like it can be done!  I'd be proud too if I were you!

    Awesome! No small feat for sure.

    I find that if I take the kids out together too often that I get a really sore back. I hope you're doing well.
