Yesterday was Day 8 of stims for me on IVF #1. I have PCOS, so I think my doctor might have oversuppressed me...what do you think?
My E2 and follice numbers:
1st check up: E2 was 77, all follicles unnder 9
2nd check up: E2 117, 5 follicle on left ovary (10-13mm), 4 follicle on right ovary (10-11mm)
3rd check up: E2 277, 6 follicles on left (10-13mm), 4 on right (7-12mm)
They upped my doses to 20u Lupron (it has been this unit for the whole cycle), 150 Gonal F and 75 Menopur.
I was scheduled for ER on 1/19, but I think that'll be pushed back. This sucks. Do you think they'll cancel my cycle???
Re: How could I have low E2 on Day 8 of stims????
Your E2 is still rising, so I think you are ok. My E2 was about 300 on day 7 of stims (and 5 small follies), and then day 9 it shot up to 800( 7 follies, none above 13mm), today day 11 of stims... it was 1750 (11 follies - largest is 20mm - smallest is 11mm).
They may push you back but it depends on the growth of the follies.
My RE does not cancel a cycle for low E2 unless it is below 300 at trigger. Remember that it does go up after trigger as well.
I don't think your cycle will be cancelled. It sounds like you are progressing.
Good luck
Unexplained Infertility
After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!
TTC #2
After months of being postponed or cancelled, FET #1.3 (Natural FET) brought us twin girls!
This. I have low, but doubling E2 numbers, the nurse said that as long as they are progressing (doubling) things are good. I upped my Menapur and lowered my Lupron.
