Any correlation: carrying low and early baby?

After looking at our belly/baby pic Friday (all such cute pics btw I love friday!) I feel like I am carrying so much lower than others. Even my mom commented today on how the baby seems much lower. 

Is there any correlation between carrying low and early babies? Any mom's out there carry low? If so when did you go into labor. Obviously I know that tons of factors go into when you deliver I just am getting a bit anxious thinking about it all.

I'm not sure, but I carried low and never dropped anymore than I was the whole time and I went 2 weeks early with a healthy 8 pounder! GL

My mom always comments on how low she carried me and I was full term. That's all I have

I am also carrying low (I missed posting for belly pics yesterday, but you can see my most recent picture in my blog).  I don't know if you go earlier when you carry low, but I did have a stranger tell me that I would end up on bedrest because I am carrying low.  I was only 19 weeks at the time but got put on bedrest at 22 w.  I hope you go full-term!  I bet it's not where you carry but just has to do with the cervix.

I carried so low that my doctor was convinced I was going to go into labor any minute for the last 4 weeks of my pregnancy, and I ended up being a week late.

I carried low (G's head was right on top of my cervix at 36 week-- and I felt her there for weeks prior that) but only delivered 3 days early and I had a big baby (9 lbs 10 oz).

I carried really low, like obscenely low.  DD came at 40w6d, on her own, but via c-section because she wouldn't get out of my rib cage.  I have zero idea why my pregnancy was so low when clearly DD was high.  Well I have a theory, I have horribly out of shape ab muscles so I think that's why I carried low.  GL though!

Nope. 39w1d and I was so low baby was at pelvic station neg 1 for weeks

I carried low. I would get comments from strangers all of the time about how they knew I was pregnant with a boy because of how low I was carrying. I had him at 39 weeks, and despite me carrying low, he would not drop and I had to have a Csection.

I carried very high and DD was 10 days early... my friend was due the day after me and carried very low (and the baby got even lower toward her due date)... she delivered a week late.

I carried very low for most of my pregnancy.  Every time I had an ultrasound, the tech commented on how low my little guy was.  At 36 weeks, I was 1-2cm dilated, 70% effaced, and +1 station and my Dr. kept commenting about how low he was and she didn't think I would even make it to 39 weeks (scheduled induction).  I had a healthy 6lb baby at 38w3d - my water broke on its own the night before.  My dr. seemed to think I would go early based on how low I was carrying....so maybe it is true.

with DD I carried super-low and went into labor at 38w5d. With DS, I carried high and had to be induced at 40 weeks....hmmm....

I carried low the whole time.  Really dropped a month before hand, prayed that I wouldn't be late....and ended up going into labor 2 days early.  I always figured I would be earlier than that(b/c I started having contractions at 36 weeks), so not sure there is much correlation!
