OMG...I can hardly type...I took a test this morning (Dollar Tree) and there was no line....I bought a digital test at Target on the way to pick up DD....
I POAS in the bathroom of Macy's at the mall (glamorous, I know)...bc I am a looney bird and thought for sure today that I was KU today...tucked the test in the top of the stroller and looked at DD - she smiled really big - got myself together and looked at the test...Pregnant...my hands started to shake...DD was still smiling...I looked at her and said "you are going to be the best big sister" and gave her a kiss on the nose and shed some tears of absolutely happiness.
Got myself together, put the test in my pocket...and kept looking at it.
Could not focus on shopping at Gymboree...went to Barnes and Noble and picked up my fav baby journal - the Belly Book. The checkout lady said "Oh, you must need this again"...I hesitated and then said "yes, I do" I told her I just took a test, she came out from her desk and gave me a hug.
Thank you all for all your help on this board, I didn't know about charting, Pom juice or Preseed or anything. You have been so supportive.
I wanted to tell DH on his birthday, but it's a week away and I don't think I will be able to wait. He works third shift and DD always runs to the door when he comes home in the morning, so I was thinking of having her hand him the test?
I am still not seeing any line on the Dollar Tree, but took another digital and got another BFP (hope it's not a false positive?)
Hoping this baby will stick (I am on Progesterone for short LP) and hoping to make it longer this time.

Baby B's heart stop beating at 9 weeks 5 days

I always imagined that I would give him a gift the first time, and I literally took a test while he waited outside the bathroom door, just to see if I could drink at a party that night, I wanted to be safe and since my period was late, he basically knew right away and I thought...hmmm...that's not the way I imagined things would go.
This time I really want to surprise him.

First of all congratulations! But I can't help but feel soo connected to this situation. I feel completely different and feel as though I am KU as well, but I have tested two days in a row with a Dollar Tree test and had no second line show, but I feel as though I am pregnant.
What made you decide to try another/different test?

Congrats on your bfp!!! You give me hope... we are ttc #2 cycle #6 and I noticed on your profile that you had Hellp like me with your first baby. I was beginning to think that maybe cause I had Hellp I wont be able to get preggers again.. but I am hopeful now! I hope you have a h&h 9 months!

No I did not deliver early.. 39 weeks... I did not start showing signs until about 37 weeks.. hbp, low platelets then I got really sick at 39 weeks.. vomiting, sore on right side ect but not a lot of swelling.. went to the dr for my 39 week appt.. bp was high and I had protein in my urine so they sent me over to the hospital for tests.. decided to induce me put me on mag... i could not have an epi cause the platelets were low.. The induction failed.. I had a c section the next morning under general... ds was fine other than jaundice.. I spent a night in ICU, had 2 have platelet transfusions in ICU then 5 more nights in maternity.. Finally got to see ds 1 1/2 days after he was born.. my bp finally went down after about 12 weeks...
I was told by ob after 1 year ok to ttc #2 but if I get Hellp again with #2 no more pregnancy... which is ok for me as we are only planning on 2 and I am 33 now.. I dont know exactly what my platelets were at but they must have been really low.
I wish you all the best I hope that Hellp does not show her ugly face again for you with your 2nd pregnancy! Good Luck!! and congrats again!
