Starting a GD check in board!

Hi there-

i have recently been diagnosed with GD and thought it would be good to start a check in board. i figure twice a week would work- Tuesdays and Thursdays. all could check in and chat about our meals, concerns, blood sugar numbers and answer newbies questions!

I have found these check in's to be a great support- so i hope we can keep it up and be there for each other. GD makes pregnancy just a little bit more complex. But we can do it!

so, give me your bumpie name, real name, age and due date, diet only and or drugs and ill include you in our listing. we will offically start Tuesday morning!

I actually don't have GD at this point, but due to a history of evelated fasting blood sugars, I've been put on the GD diet and told to check my blood sugars 4 times a day - in the hopes of preventing or delaying GD - that's why I'll probably be the only first trimester person on this list...

Mrs. Day/ Kerri/ 33/ was able to control with diet for awhile but had to start glyburide this week/ EDD is Feb 7 but being induced Feb 1.

I have an ultrasound scheduled for Jan 27. If Liam is still measuring big then the induction will be changed to a scheduled section. Great idea to set this up! This board has been very helpful!
