50 calories is about 1 point. I would add 6 points for your 300 calories, plus if you're "trying to lose weight" the program subtracts 4 points, so I'd add those 4 back in. So when pg, you should have an additional 10 points above what you have when "dieting". GL.
Why would you follow a diet plan while pregnant?!?! WW is such a scam anyways. I know so many people who follow that and never keep their weight off. As long as you are eating a diet rich in whole foods, you don't need to follow silly diets and count points. Base your diet around fruits, veggies, whole grains, and lean proteins and your weight will be in check and you and your baby will be healthy. You shouldn't eat a bunch of processed crap like WW-approved packaged foods, pregnant or not. Whole foods and exercise. That's all you need to remember.

A lot of people doing WW are looking for an easy fix and there are plenty of frozen meals and packaged snacks that are bad for you but people eat because they show WW points and make things easy. My whole point is that you don't need to follow a diet. Just make healthy choices and you'll be at a healthy weight.

I'm glad it is that easy for you to do just that . But for others WW has been a godsend.
I actually lost close to 70lbs on WW and kept it off until I got pregnant.. which has allowed me to have a MUCH healthier pregnancy this time around.. Just like any "lifestyle change" you have to be willing to change completely and that is why WW doesn't work for everyone... they go back to their "old" ways because that is what they know and do best... I don't see any reason why you can't track and count your points while being pregnant.. Your doc will let you know if you are depriving your baby of nutrition, so I would continue to track, especially if it's going to allow you to get back to your pre-prego weight after your precious one is here
I think I actually eat healthier when doing WW! Yes, it does not work for everyone...but I am a visual person and looking at my food log at say 7 p.m. and hungry, it is easier to choose a piece of fruit or vegetable when I see I already had a cookie earlier in the day lol. Seeing the log and correct portion sizes helps me make better decisions.
