What items are you buying for #2?

I feel like I've never done the infant thing before, trying to remember everything I will need! We already have all the big items (crib, swing, carseat, etc) and have gotten a bunch of new clothes since we're having a girl this time, but not sure what else I need.

What items did you purchase or will you purchase for baby #2?

We mostly needed clothes (girl this time, like you) and a new crib and dresser. Other little things include: new soothers, nipples (for bottles), newborn diapers. I cant really think of anything else, so there wasn't much at all. But I feel the same way; I'm SO nervous about doing the newborn thing again b/c I feel like I've forgotten it all, already!

Here's my list so far. And like you we're having a girl, already have a boy.

diapers - we cloth diaper but started later on DS so need newborn sizes.

clothing - some girly bits plus DS was born in winter and I'm due in June so not a lot of overlap there even though I would happily put his clothes on her...

furniture - we're debating who to buy new for. him or her. i'm leaning towards him. a twin bed, new dresser and bookshelf, leave the nursery intact. though we'd still need a crib. gave ours to my sister, might be able to borrow one from other sister.  DS has been in a toddler bed for about 9 months.

diaper bag - I want something I can carry snacks for DS, stuff for me, diapers, change of clothes. Our current one is too small for that.

wrap - I got a gently used organic Moby wrap. Wanted something hands free and to be able to use it straight away. 

bath rest - we didn't use a baby tub last time around, just a small ergo bath seat and we donated it when we were done with it so we'll get another one.

pacifiers/a teether/bottles - I got some new bottles to try though I will be BFing, pacifiers - got rid of all this stuff when DS was done with it. His teethers we have saved in his keepsake box, she'll get her own.

borrowing: double jogger potentially, carseat and bases, co-sleeper.

We are having another boy..But we did get some clothes so ds #2 had his own. A couple blankets. going to get a crib, diapers. I haven't gotten any paci's really don't want to use them this time...
