I want to go to a movie all by myself!

I just want to get away from my house. Dh is driving me nuts, ds is so cranky.

Do you ever just want to run away for a bit?

I feel so stressed and annoyed and I don't even work!

I haven't left the house since monday....Maybe I just have some cabin fever. But I really don't even want to leave but think it'd be good for my sanity!

ugh...what do you do to unwind?

Can you go to a movie?  Maybe when DH gets home?  Going to a movie alone is my favorite relaxation technique.  Whenever MIL comes to town to watch DS for a day, that's usually what I do. Or shopping, but the movie thing is usually more relaxing.

This is SO me, except I have been out of the house...I try to get out every day.  But DH is ON MY NERVES and DS is just cranky.  I need out but there's nothing for me to do.

ahhh sarah! i totally wish my mom was in town i would ask her to watch brock so we could go do something.

Is your DH home? Yes...go see a movie....get out of the house, you neeeed to! i would think the middle of the week and early afternoon would be perfect to go to a movie alone...no one would be there!

PS...my mom is so lucky. She is on some committee of like 5 women for the women's ministry at church and they paid for them to go up to dallas until sunday (all expenses paid) to plan a conference that they are having at church in october..she is so lucky.

I love doing that!  Last year I left work early and went to see SATC on opening day in the afternoon (by myself), and still got out in time to pick up my son from daycare.  My boss laughed and laughed when I told him why I 'had' to leave early.

Oh and get this Michelle, dh says to me last night" I don't think we can do that thing on feb 12, do you really think Alex is going to be good? I don't want to get a call in the middle of dinner telling us to come get him"

I promised him alex would be fine and your mom said not to worry but he's still freaking out, so now that probably won't happen.

Have I mentioned I'm not a fan of my dh lately? lol.  UGH!!!!!!!!!!!

oh no! you have to have to have to! you should insist on it...and if he still doesn't agree take him up to the church by yourself and do something YOU want to do! Tell him he can't do this forever and at some point you guys need some time together. And hopefully if we can get together more between now and then, maybe he will get really used to Brock too and they can be in the same room together and Alex and Brock can hang out

i love, love, love to go to the movies by myself.  i ususally give myself an extra 30-60 minutes beforehand and shop, get snax then relax.  it's a well deserved break.
