By the way, I only drank about 24 oz..  And I'm glad I didn't go for 40.  My bladder was plenty full.  In fact, after the first half of images were taken I went pee and came back for the second round, the tech laughed because she could see that my bladder was already filling up again. 

Wow, ok I will keep that in mind.  I don't wanna be in expreme pain or anything.

I had to drink 40 oz an hour before, too.  The do that so they can clearly see the position of your bladder.  Then half way through, they have you go to the bathroom and empty your bladder.  Then you go back for a second round.   

 I've had the same thing. They do a regular u/s on your lower ab, then you empty your bladder and do a transvaginal u/s. I'm pretty sure that's probably what they are talking about.

I had have a full bladder for each of the 2 times I've had it done.  The first time I went was before TTC.  I had experienced horrible cramping after sex.  They didn't find anyting.  The second time was to look for a baby.  They didn't find anything that time either.

This. And there is a screen in front of me on the wall that I can see what the tech is looking at. 

I was also told to go in with a full bladder but then the tech told me to empty it...

This exactly!!! Just a "weird" feeling when its up there...you feel it movin around but its not painful or anything. Just....weird.

I had to do that same! 32oz about an hour before the procedure...and I had to drink it all within 30 or 45 mins (I forget which). I was DYING by the time she finally called me in. But thank GOD the abdomen u/s was short...then I got to get up and go pee and then the 2nd round was longer and more in depth.
