Stuuuupid baking question.

Lets say I was going to bake some cookies, muffins, and banana bread  (my bestie who is visiting for the weekend-- just moved out away all by herself), and send it with the person on Sunday.  

When would be my optimal day to bake? (Make the dough Friday, bake saturday morning-- for cookies)

How do I store it so it will stay fresh the longest (ziplock bags??)

 

She is coming Saturday afternoon, and I want it to be a complete surprise for when she leaves Sunday.   

 

This is a stupid question.

I would probably bake it on Saturday morning and then put them in ziplock bags and just put it away until Sunday. It will stay fresh
