Name - Lauren

Due Date - 2/23

Date Placed on Bedrest - on and off throughout pg, officially hospitalized 1/4

Type - Strict hospital bedrest

Why - IUGR

Question of the Day - What is your favorite show/movie that you would recommend to other bedrest mamas to watch while stuck at home?

Answer- I love 30 Rock and recently watched all 3 seasons--it is hilarious and really upbeat which is definitely something bedrest mamas need! I also recommend Lost as a great time filler--I posted below that its great b/c there are 6 seasons out on DVD with each season having about 25 episodes at 45 minutes an episode--so if you havent ever watched it it will give you HOURS of entertainment! I cant wait to see what things you all suggest!

Updates- No real updates today--just hoping that little buddy stays cooking--im frustrated w/ DH becuase he still hasnt come to visit me yet today (its 6:50pm my time) but I know in reality I need to be patient w/ him b/c its stressful for him too (me being on bedrest) and he is doing his best between work and the hospital

**A big congrats to asliceofawesome/Lesley (former bedrest mama) who had her baby this past Saturday! He was 6 pounds born at 35 weeks and 3 days!

**Chelsea/Lomaxee--how did things go with stopping the procardia last night?**

**Michelle/miaomi--how was the cloth diaper party? It sounded like it would have been a blast!**

**Jennifer/jsmott76--praying you get to stay at home on BR and dont have to go to L&D**

**Nic/Mrs_D-- praying that baby stays cookin once you are off the terbutaline!!**

  • Name - Jennifer

    Due Date - 4/16

Date Placed on Bedrest - 12/31; hospitalized 12/30 and 1/11.  Back at home 1/12

    Type - Strict home bedrest

    Why - Hypertension; Pre-E risk

Question of the Day - What is your favorite show/movie that you would recommend to other bedrest mamas to watch while stuck at home?

Answer- I LOVE Law & Order.  The good thing about L&O is that you can pretty much always find an episode on because there are several different versions and so many stations run reruns!  LOL!  I also like Bones and the CSI's.  I'm a fictional crime drama junkie!  Hahahaha!

Updates- Today things have been pretty uneventful.  My bp has been great while I'm lying down.  I've stopped taking it sitting up per OB's instructions.  I'm still anxiously waiting for my 24 hour urine test results.  I'm a little worried about it because the output seemed really low, especially compared to the others I've done.  But, I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed!

**Lauren - thanks for the support and prayers!  I hope your LO keeps cooking also.  T&P coming your way Smile

Still anxious for coming off the terbutaline this weekend, and letting nature take it's course.
