Stupid GD question

If something says it is 1 carb is that = to 15 grams??? I was given gram amounts and in my book it's written with 1 carb type language. TIA!

    Thanks! I am sure it has been answered on here before I was just lazy :)

    I was sort of following the diet but my numbers starting spiking so I have to 'really' follow it closely now and I just want to be sure! I was so upset to see high numbers! BOO!
