UGG ladies...? for you

I have been thinking about getting some Ugg low boots in brown, but never wanted to pay that kind of money since I am strictly a flip flop girl. A store near me has them on sale for $96. Is that a super good deal or should I look into a cheaper version like the EMUs or the BearPaw ones? Anybody have those instead of Uggs?

Buy the uggs!  I was going to get a pair of FUggs, but the price of the Emus or whatever are almost that.  I LOVE mine.  I've had one pair for years and years and years.  

and PS, buy a pair for me and ship them on up, please :-)

I only wear those boots because it is so cold at work.  I have two pairs of Uggs and love them.  I also have two pairs of the Target brand, they are ok.  I found another brand that is a bit cheaper than the UGG but more than EMU or Bearpaw.  These feel just like UGGs and I even tried on Minnetonka and one Ugg on the other foot and could not tell the difference.  But 96 is a great price.  I would snap them right up.

Ok, I think I will do it. I have been wanting them for a while. I like the grey ones but they only have the tan. I think I would get more use out of the tan ones anyways.

I love my Uggs, even though I think they are hideously ugly.  I have three pairs and it is basically all I wear all winter. But, you are in FL, right? If I didn;t live in butt cold New England I wouldn't own them. They are toasty warm  - I need that here walking in sub zero tempos and standing on ice at the playground for hours, so I put up with the ugly. If I lived in Florida I would own cuter shoes.

Actually, I just moved to San Diego. The mornings & evenings here are in the upper 40s & 50s & usually warm up about 9:30 or 10. Some days it stays in the 60s. I live in my Havianas, but my feet do get cold a lot, I just put up with it.?
