Anyone know if Gerber cereal contains milk?
LO is on Nutramigen for a *possible* milk protein allergy. We also (per pedi) are adding 2tsp of cereal per 2oz of formula to help with reflux. When we were in the hospital he was getting Beechnut b/c that's all they had. Now we are home & I'm wondering if I can use Gerber rice cereal.
Anyone???
Re: Gerber vs Beechnut cereal
Gerber's website says the rice, oatmeal & barley single grain cereals do not contain milk. BUT they all contain soy.
I know Beechnut is soy-free. I'm so confused about this whole thing & my pedi is less than helpful.
ExpectantSteelerFan...we want to switch off Nutramigen too but I'm not sure what to switch too?! We never tried soy; we went right from Similac Advance to Nutramigen.
You can make your own and then you'll know exactly what is in it.
