Babies R Us - Registering?

When you register at Babies R Us (in store) do you shop around for items with a gun that registers the items with a click? (Like in the movies?) Or do you just do it all online?

Yes we used a registry "gun" and we also added/modified items we registered for online.

I did both. I read lots of reviews and picked out a lot of stuff I wanted online, but then I went around and got trigger happy with the gun.

I believe you can do it either way.  When I registered for my wedding, we got the cool gun!

I did my registry with Target online. I plan on going in the store to modify when I get closer to my due date. Walmart, it's best you go to the store because there's basically nothing on the website.
