I had horrible issues while pregnant with M. Flaxseed was my savior. I put it in most of my baked goods, snuck it in most of our dinners, apple sauce, yogurt, oatmeal. Never made too much a difference with the flavor, but too much and it turns a little nutty.
Good reminder! I have a big jar I bought from Costco that I almost threw out in my decluttering frenzy this weekend. Lord knows E & I could use the help. From the sound of things, DH probably could, too. Ha, TMI.
I love the flavor of ground flax. I have the Cosco one too. I put in my morning cereal. I eat a lot of fiber and I don't think my baby is particularly gassy. Maybe she is just used to it since i do it every day. good for the baby's brain too.

Hmm, a good friend of mine was told by her doc to stop taking flaxseed while TTC because it cleans out your uterus and can cause miscarriage. I have no idea the truth to that, I think I'll do a little googling.

I still use it from time to time.
ditto!! Mine is ground.... "Cold Milled Ground" gives you the highest Omega 3s.... costco has a good one for $9bucks!
