I usually put a little olive oil on it and stick it under the broiler for about 5 minutes depending on how thick it is. I've added some garlic before or balsalmic vinegar.
I set the over to around 375 put some alumnium foil on the baking sheet. Pour a little olive oil on the alumnium foil, then I put the salmon on it, put butter on top of salmon, sprinkle some lemon pepper on top, and let it cook. It'll flake real easy with a fork when its done.
broil it in the oven for like 5 minutes. Take out and add a little quick, home-made sauce (light mayo, little lemon juice & fresh dill- mixed together). Top it with the sauce and a little parm cheese and broil for anouther 5 minutes -ish. Very yummy. Served with brown rice and a veggie
The grocery store I buy it from wraps the salmon with specific instructions. My salmon has ALWAYS tasted perfect!
Measure it from the thickest part. Season it however you would like. Put it in the oven @ 450 degrees. Cook it for 10 minutes per every inch of thickness you measure. So if your salmon is 1 inch at the thickest part, you only need to cook it for 10 minutes.
This has never failed me, but still keep in mind that you do want to watch it.
Re: How do you cook your salmon?
We grill ours on a cedar plank (we eat a lot of salmon!)
It's important to make sure that you do not over cook it. Salmon is pretty terrible once it is overcooked.
broiling, roasting or grilling is usually my choice. i love the little crispy bits.
this looks like a good recipe to me. yum!
