Does freaking preschool have to be so competitive?

24 spots open in Sept for the preschool that we decided on. 10 out of 24 are available. They only have 2 prek 4 classes. Kids in MDO get first priority.

Everything about this place is freaking perfect. Class size, school size, curriculum, teachers, Fee's, tuition. PERFECT. The school is tiny and clean and the kids looked like they were having fun (I sat in on a class). 

The only preschool that I like everything about it. 5 days a week 8:30am-12.:30 for Miles and 3 days a week (M/W/F) for Emilia same times.

I had my checkbook in hand and the forms. I can't register them until Feb 22nd.

So I have to hope that I will be one of the 10 people there at the butt crack of dawn to sign my kids up.

BOOOOOOOOO.

    That IS frustrating, but you know what?  If it's meant to be, it will happen.  If not, then something better will come along.  (You just might not know it's better at first!)  Good luck!

    Yeah. Plus, if you don't get your kids into the 'right' preschool, they're sure to be doomed to a crappy and unfulfilling life!

    I am sure in CA there are 10 preschools in your area, unfortunately those of us that choose to move out into the sticks have very little options, so keeping the kids within 30 minutes is kind of hard. Thanks though.

    All the more reason that you shouldn't be so pissed about triplets being in the same class?

    we are in the same boat.  We got into our "safety school" LOL.  But we are going to be registering for another pre-k on Sat. We are hoping we get into that one.
