Mobile - where to hang it?

I will be a first time mom, so this may seem like a silly question, but...

I purchased some small stuffed owls on etsy.com and plan to make a mobile with them. Should I hang the mobile above the crib, the changing table, or the glider? Where would it best be suited?

Mine is in the crib, which I don't know why, LO probably won't even sleep there until I get over my new mommy anxiety.
