What humidifier did you register for?

Maybe I'm just overthinking this... My sister-in-law went with me to register yesterday and she told me to register for this $170 humidifier and i did... but i'm having second thoughts... It just feels like too much money.

So then I wanted to replace it on my registry and I start doing research on humidifiers and pediatrics.org tells me it get a cool mist evaporative humidifier... not ultrasonic and not impeller because those can ceate airborne minierals and dust and germs.. and blah...blah... and i'm trying to read amazon.com reviews and i feel like i'm totally over thinking this...

Some are too noisy, some have too bright a light, some make everything damp, some don't humidify enough, some ruin furniture, some are hard to clean, some have expensive filters, etc...

ugh. help. please. What humidifier did you register for and why?

Unless your baby is due in the winter months, I dont feel its necessary to have right now. We didnt buy DD a humidifier until she was 6 months old. She was born in April, and 6 months in October. We went to Target and got a nice one for 20 bucks.

I agree with PP. Also, any humidifier being used in a childs room should be cool mist to avoid the possibility of burns.

Okay... whew... thanks... I needed to step back from the obessive research...

A Crane frog sounds good to me... and I will wait... I'm going to remove that uber-expensive humidifier from my registry right now...It's really bothering me.
