GD while sick

Does GD sometimes just up when you are sick?

I have had a fever for the past couple of days and twice my numbers have gone up to 130 and 140.  I usually do not go past 120 after meals.  I am on glyb. before I go to bed to regulate my morning numbers.  I am really suprised to see those numbers.  I was put on antibiotics today...could that also affect it?

I'm not sure I might call your doctor. Mine did say that moods etc can affect everything a bit. I would call just to be sure you don't have to up the meds. GL!

Stress, illness, lack of sleep, etc. can all affect your numbers.  You should talk to your doctor about it.

This exactly.  Also, as your pregnancy progresses the placenta will be increasing in size and creating more hormones, so GD can progressively get more difficult to control (and some people say that around 37-38 weeks it may get easier!).
