Peeing or Slow Leak???

I just got off the phone with my doctors office and I am not sure if I am peeing or if it is my of water. They told me to lay down for a while and if it continues to call back because I may have to go to labor and delivery. Has anyone had this happen I am nervous...it is to early for this.

i have had a slow leak feeling since november, i have been to the hospital twice for it. and they say it is nothing. just normaly vaginal discharge. i think they are all crazy, however they have done all the tests and even ultrasounds to check my fluid level and it is all good. so hopefully thats all it is. best of luck, and its always best to call the dr when your not sure.

ME!  I went to the dr. because I thought I was leaking amniotic fluid, here I've just been peeing myself because LO just lays on my bladder.  She did an exam and an ultrasound and all was fine.  She told me to smell my underwear and if it smells like pneomonia, than it's urine, if it's sweet, to call her.  I would get checked out if I were you just to make sure so if it continues, you know what it is.  GL!!

I heard a neat way to tell if the fluid is amniotic fluid. Take a sample of the fluid and place it on a mirror . If it looks like a fern when it dries it's probably amniotic fluid.

I went to the doctor this morning for this.  I woke up with wet underwear.  Went to the bathroom and when I was all finished stood up to take a shower.  A few drops hit the floor and as I was standing there pondering it another one hit.  I took my shower and got dressed and my undies were still getting wetter and wetter. 

Dr. said everything is fine and it is not amniotic fluid but might be cervical fluid.  It smells sweet and is definitely not urine.  I have a pad on now and seems like it is still flowing a bit.  She said they sometimes can miss a slow amniotic fluid leak but more than likely I am just stuck with this until I deliver.
