Appetizers?

What are your go-to appetizers? We are planning a super bowl party and I need some good ones. My fave are the bacon wrapped water chestnuts. I wanted to try some new ones. Thanks!

  • queso and chips.

DH made chicken wings for the play offs yesterday.

Our parties ususally include everyone bringing something so no one has to do too much.

    Buffalo chicken dip for sure!

This is always on my menu for appetizers and always a hit!!

I also tried a new hot dip and it's so good too, and easy.

    2 bricks cream cheese

1 can of rotel (don't drain)

1 roll of Jimmy dean sausage browned and drained.

Mix together in a crockpot and heat on low and serve w/ tortilla chips or triscuits. I like it better with the triscuits.

  • Pigs in a blanket (sausages in the crescent rolls), hot salsa dip, quac and chips, spinach dip with bread bowl, chips, veggies and dip, pretzels, and I always have some freezer type appetizers if things start getting low I can stick in the oven (just in case).
  • Fresh fruit and fruit dip, tortilla pinwheels, pizza dip, grapes and cheese on toothpicks, black bean salsa with chips

  • Wrap 1/2 piece of bacon around a little smokie (secure with a toothpick) and bake them at 400 for about 20 minutes.

    Hot Pizza Dip (YUMMY!)

Mix 8 oz cream cheese, 1 cup shredded parmasean cheese, and about 1-2 tbls garlic bread seasoning.  Spread in the bottom of a baking dish.  Top with pizza sauce, diced pepperoni, and shredded mozerella cheese.  Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes.  Serve with slices of a crusty baugette or french bread.
