What fun activities are going on for 16 month olds around Mpls?

I am expecting my first child in May this year and I'm very excited!

I currently watch my nephew full time and reside in Minneapolis, MN. I'm looking for fun things to do around the city. I have found a couple storytimes at local libraries and I know we could do the museums, but I'm looking for groups to join. Or play groups.... any advice??
