My husband and I worked on the nursery yesterday. I hung all their little clothes up by month and then sat in the rocker while he hung "Ollie" and "Harry" over the cribs.
I just couldn't believe I was sitting in my babies nursery...my twins nursery...my twin boy's nursery...
There have been so many surprises throughout this whole thing. We went from being pretty sure we couldn't conceive- so let's adopt, to we're pregnant, it's twins, it's a boy and a girl, no it's a boy and a boy. Now here I am at 20 weeks and still feeling great!
I just can't believe this is my life- I feel so blessed and terrified!
My DH and I talked a lot about it yesterday- we met in high school art class, he was very shy and I was very outgoing (he didn't give me the time of day) then we ended up at party together, when I was leaving he walked me out to my car and it started snowing- he then pulled me in and gave me a kiss. We both say that's when we knew we were the ones...I just can't believe we're those same kids....
Re: Reality
I look at pictures of DH and I from when we first started dating, or from our wedding, and I want to tell those people, "you will NEVER believe how your life is going to turn out in a few years".
It's amazing and crazy and hey, that's life!

My blog * We made the national news!
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
Aww too sweet!!! I feel the same way, too. I was told it would be difficult to conceive and bam, I was hearing that I was having twins. It's been such a roller coaster!!
Good for you for getting the nursery set up!!
