He loves repeating phrases I say to him...I don't know if he is practicing words or showing his understanding, but it's really cute!

For example, his "first warning" if he does something he shouldn't I will say "no no no no" in this kind of sing-song voice with a stern touch to it. I want him to know im not angry yet, but this is something you should not do. Now he will look back at me, shake his head and say "no no no no" back to me! We also have this game where I swear he is playing with me. I tell him " My baby" and he says something that sounds like " my mama"...

Is it too soon for all this?
