Morning Everyone! Here is our check-in for everyone with a due date in April 2010. If you would like to be added please post your bump name ? real name ? age and your EDD (expected delivery date). If I missed you at the last check in please post again.

If anything has changed, like your EDD after the U/S please post an update with your original EDD so I can easily find you on the list. Also make sure we know which team you are on when you find out the sex! I will add Team GREEN, BLUE, or PINK after your info!

If you are listed in the due date needed list, please update your due date for me so that I can add you to the correct date.

Check-ins will be every Monday, Wednesday and Friday by 9am EST.  Feel free to check-in any time that day.  Give us a general update on your progress and anything else you want to add!  We will have a question of the day as well.  There will also be a link to the check-in posted sometime after 3pm EST on M, W, and F. Friday is bump Fridays, let?s show off those bellies ladies!

my1andonly, she is currently in the hospital on bedrest 8cm dilated, please keep her in your thoughts and prayers she needs to last until December 15, 2009 to get to 24 weeks

UPDATE: my1andonly said goodbye to her beautiful son 13 hours after delivery on 12/17/09. Our hearts go out to her and her family.

 

CharlotteBelle, she lost her son on 11/20/09

 

carolinah, she found out she is a carrier for a genetic disorder that effects the liver and ability for the LO to break down protein. Good luck over the next couple of weeks/months until you find out if you?re LO has this disorder. Good Luck at the u/s this week! UPDATE: She is having a girl and the chance goes down to 25% and it?s much more manageable with a female rather than a male! CONGRATS GUYS!

 

Jen N El, her little boy has two heart defects that need to be watched over the next few months. Please T&P that he will not need immediate open heart surgery! Next appt is Nov 30^th and amino results right around then or right after due to the holidays. Amino results came back good and all testing has been normal! They go in for another u/s today (12/16) and hoping for good news! Good luck and congrats so far guys! UPDATE:  echo u/s came back with good results and the doctor is happy the baby is measuring 1-2 weeks ahead of schedule! Next u/s is 1/13. Congrats and rest up over the holidays guys!

 

MNdesigner, she lost her twin boys due to pre-e our thoughts and prayers go out to her and her DH.

From me I'd choose: compassion for a personality trait and my eye color for a physical trait. 

From DH:  I'd choose his intelligence and for a physical trait his height. 

 I would like it very much is LO could avoid getting my health problems and DH's moodiness.

If we're talking physcial traits - I hope that LO gets my vision (DH has awful eyesight) and DH's beautiful blue eyes (both our eyes are blue, but DH's are beautiful). 

If we're talking personality/characteristics - I hope LO gets DH's brain (I think we are both pretty smart people, but DH is naturally smart - he always got straight A's in school and just seems to retain information so well.  I hope LO gets my outgoing personality.

Morning ladies! We started painting yesterday (well DH & FIL) and the room is looking great! the crib is being ordered this week!

As far as traits, I hope the baby gets my eyes or slightly lighter (mine are hazel green) and I hope he/she gets DH's brain and humor.

negative traits I hope the baby isn't accident prone, growing up both DH & I were really bad, I first injured myself at the age of 4 (required 6 stitches next to my eye) and DH fractured his leg at 18 months. so I hope our baby isn't like us in that way!

Both of us are pretty stubborn, I hope she doesn't get that. Also, DH family is very pushy and type A, while mine is very laid back. I hope she takes after my family in that aspect.

If I could choose one possitive trait I would like LO to inherit from both me and DH I would choose my love for everything in life, and DH's level head.  I would also love for LO to inherit my green eyes, as iam the only one in my family with them, and nearly everyone in my family, and DH's family has blue eyes.

1 negative trait I hope LO doesn't inherit is my health, my feet, and DH's temperment.

I really would have liked both boys to have DH's cleft chin but this one looks as though he's going to have my pointy chin from the looks of the u/s. I would prefer neither have DH's nose. I hope this one has my blonde hair. I love that DS has red hair but I'd like to have a blonde cutie too!

QOTD- I'd want our little guy to have hubby's laid back attitude and positivity.  I have a tendancy to be negative at times and know that is a bad trait. 

 

I'd love for our little one to also have my musical talent.  Both hubby and I love music but music is my career so i'd love our kid to enjoy being some sort of musician. We'll see!

I hope this LO gets DH's common sense and good looks......and I hope he gets my book smarts and athletic ability.  DH and I are total opposites, so who knows what'll happen in the genetic department!

Conversely, I hope I don't pass on my slow metabolism or DH's feet.

Hi there...Not new to this site, but I am new to this message board.  I didn't realize there was an April due date group.  I am on Baby Centre and Canadian Parents as well.  I hope I can join in.

My name is Laurie, aka Llamakeeper.  I am 32 years old from Ontario Canada.  I am currently 28 weeks pregnant with my first child.  I am having a little boy due April 3, 2010. 

I hope that my little guy gets my eyes and nose and his father's build and height. 

I hope that he isn't built like me and doesn't get his father's Italian nose.  It is a nice nose, but it is a big nose.

I hope our little girl grows up to be tall like me, and athletic like DH.  I hope she loves art, making things, and being creative like the two of us.  I hope she has the capacity for love that DH and I share together.
