Tums!!

Hi Girls!

What are your feelings about Tums?  I have been taking 1 or 2 at night pretty frequently, I have the worst heartburn and I hahve had it since pretty much day 1!  ( I am 21 weeks right now)  I was under the impression they were okay to take, but from what I have been reading online, now I am second guessing.  Any thoughts?

I took them all the time during the first trimester b/c I was in so much pain.  I've read online that they're ok as long as you are taking the regular strength.  I don't think you should take the higher strengths though.

I'm sure if you called your Dr they would be able to tell you right away if it's ok.

They are fine to take. But if you are taking them too frequently I would talk to you dr, maybe they could reccomend something else! Hope your feeling better soon!

My dr said Zantac is ok if the heartburn is really bad.  i would rather take one of those than keep chewing Tums.

I love them! I have taken them the last few nights. I was told by my doctor that they are safe.
