Trying to contain my anxiety regarding my DS

Thanks for all those who responded last night about my concern over my son who has been limping for over a week. I was out for most of the day and tried not to worry, but now that I'm home I'm trying to keep myself from bringing him to the ER. I know Monday morning is not very far away, but until we get an x-ray and blood work done I'm not going to rest.

The reason why I've become so concerned is because when Trev was dx at 7 weeks with LCH, he really did not have an outward signs of being in pain. His left arm was a bit limp, but other than that he was fine.

Monday can not come quick enough. I'll be camped out @ the Dr's office for 8 am!

Re: Trying to contain my anxiety regarding my DS

  • I am so sorry you are going through this. I can relate to what your are going through. My son has a medical condition and at one time they thought it was Hesiositotis. Biopsy ruled it out. He has bone lesions. Stay away from Google, you can become obssesed, believe me I know. I read your post yesterday about your Dr. and I think that added to your anxiety. Again I have been in your shoes. Please keep us posted. I am wishing you the best. Sorry no spaces I am on the blackberry.
